Participants of the 3rd
Senior Management Course underway at the
National Management College, Lahore visited
the Regional Tax Office, Karachi on the 17th
of April, 2008. The group comprised of 46
officers in BS-19 from various occupational
groups and 5 faculty members. The
participants were given a tour of the
Regional Tax office building and thereafter
converged for a presentation on the FBR
reforms with special reference to the RTO,
Karachi. They were apprised of the latest
updates on the reforms and evolution of the
Regional Tax office Karachi over the years.
The Director General, RTO, Karachi, Mr.
Asrar Raouf answered the participants’
queries and dilated on the future strategy
for achievement of revenue targets and
broadening of tax base. Commemorative
souvenirs were presented at the end of the
briefing session followed by light
refreshments. |
