The Federal Board of
Revenue has been gradually moving towards
creating a culture of professionalism and
excellence. As per the Chairman FBR, Mr.
Abdullah Yousuf’s vision, this includes
creating a paperless environment in order to
save on time and cost. The Regional Tax
Office, Karachi followed the Chairman’s
directives by distributing ‘Blackberries’
amongst all the Commissioners and Collectors
posted at the RTO, Karachi in a recent
ceremony held at the premises. The Director
General RTO, Karachi Mr. Asrar Raouf
distributed the phones amongst the
recipients. This represents the first phase
in the process after which the facility will
be extended to the level of the Additional
Commissioners and Additional Collectors in
the next phase. This move was appreciated by
all concerned and hailed as a milestone in
the FBR’s efforts to transform into a modern
and professional organization. |
