The fifteenth edition of the CBR Yearbook comprising of description and statistical parts provides information on a broad spectrum of areas pertaining to the federal taxes including the trends in the collection and performance of CBR.

2. The Year Book has two distinct parts. Part-I focuses on revenue analysis at the aggregate and regional levels, and Part – II comprises of detailed statistical information.

I am grateful for the step by step guidance and support by Dr. Ather Maqsood Ahmed, Member FR&S and constant encouragement by Mr. Najeeb Qadir, the current Director (DR&S). It would not be out of place to thank Ms. Robina Ather Ahmed, Chief (FR&S) and Mr.Umar Wahid, Secretary (FR&S) for their comments on an earlier edition.

4. The publication has been possible due to hectic and untiring team work put in by the officers and staff of the Directorate of Research and Statistics.
