The applicant must be an employee of Central Board of
Revenue, Pakistan.
The application can only be registered by e-mail and not otherwise.
Basic ability to handle a computer to the extent of sending and
receiving e-mails is a must.
No public computers shall be used at any stage.
After registration on-line, further progress including application
status, training details along with your specific e-mail address for the
course shall be communicated to the applicant by the project team
manager.
After selection to the course either as a trainee or a tutor, the
participant shall only use the e-email address provided to FBR's
employees for the official usage by the FBR's web team. Incase you don't
have valid FBR email address, just download email form from
http://FBR.gov.pk/officers/ . After filling printed copy of the
downloaded form you are required to send it by fax at the number given
therein. The FBR's web team shall contact you at the phone number given
by you in your application. These addresses shall change with each
course. This measure is fundamental to the safety of e-leaning project
contents. No personal or other email addresses shall be used to access
the e-learning process by any participant including the project team.
In order to qualify as a tutor for any course the applicant should have:
(a) at least three years direct working experience in the relevant field
departments.
(b) Permission from, supervisory officer. This is required ; because
apart from monitoring trainee progress on time, a tutor should also be
able to reply to any e-mail queries by the trainees and the e-learning
project team.
The short listed tutor after applying on-line, will have to join a two
days hands-on orientation course at DOTR, Karachi. This however, will be
only a one time process. For tutors wishing to continue training other
courses later on ; no further training will be normally required.
The DOTR project administration team shall monitor the performance of
both the tutor and the trainees. In case of any additional content /
technological changes, the tutor shall be apprised.
Finally, as a measure of T.Q.M, all tutors shall be evaluated for time
discipline, subject knowledge and satisfaction of e-learning participant
at conclusion of academic term. Thereafter, based on all feed backs
including tutors own, they may also be asked to attend some orientation
courses to maintain the excellence in standers of e-learning.
Please, beware that if the training modules are accessed to or conducted
by any individual not duly authorized to do so, same shall be treated as
a formal breach of FBR website rules; and shall also be punishable under
other relevant rules protecting the sanctity of official correspondence
including official e-documents.
