Proposed Functions Of Legal Wing Under FBR Act, 2007

• Providing assistance/advice on all legal matters.
• Pursuing litigation cases at Supreme Court and other Courts.
  Vetting and suggesting simplification and improvement in fiscal laws.
• Making strategy for speedy disposal by the Courts.
• Monitoring of working of Collectors/Commissioners (Appeals).
• Coordinating with the Courts, Tribunal and FTO Secretariat.
• Providing assistance in employees’ service matters.
• Supervising ADR mechanism.
• Assigning and monitoring work of advocates on panel, departmental representatives and law officers.
