Chairing a detailed meeting held on 30th November, 2021 at FBR (HQs) to review the proposals for Performance Allowance, Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed, Chairman FBR/Secretary Revenue Division has emphasized on the scope of qualitative performance of officers/officials in order to promote a culture of efficiency, transparency and integrity within FBR. He issued clear directions that only those who maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and exhibit outstanding performance should be rewarded while the laggards and poor performers should not be recommended for the award of Performance Allowance.
He further directed the Admn/HR Wing of FBR to put forth a comprehensive proposal to bring FBR Performance Allowance at par with other Federal Government Departments so that the high achievers are duly compensated for their exceptional performance. He emphasized on the need to promote fairness and merit in order to encourage Team FBR in maintaining the highest standards of moral integrity and professional conduct. He further stated that a belt tightening exercise was of paramount importance in order to make a strong case for the financial and administrative autonomy of FBR.
Member (Admn/HR), SA to Chairman FBR and Chief (FATE) also attended the meeting wherein Ms.Aisha Farooq, Chief (T&D), gave a detailed presentation on existing and proposed revised draft of Performance Allowance Guidleines-2015.

ایف بی آر ہیڈکوارٹر ز میں 30 نومبر 2021 کو چئیرمین ایف بی آر و سیکریٹری ریونیو ڈویثرن ڈاکٹر محمد اشفاق احمد نے پرفارمینس الاؤنس سے متعلقہ تجاویز پر نظر ثانی میٹنگ کی اور ایف بی آر میں قابلیت و لیاقت ، شفافیت اور ایمانداری کو فروغ دینے کے لئے افسران و اہلکاروں کی کوالٹی پرفارمینس کی ضرورت پر زور دیا۔اس موقع پر انہوں نے واضح احکامات صادر فرمائے کہ صرف ایسے افسران و اہلکاروں کو انعام دیا جائے جو پیشہ وارانہ قابلیت اور بہترین کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کریں اور ناقص کارکردگی اور سست ملازمین کو پرفارمینس الاؤنس نہ دیا جائے۔
انہوں نے مزید ایف بی آر کی انتظامیہ اور ایچ آر ونگ کو ہدایات جاری کیں کہ ایف بی آر پرفارمینس الاؤنس کو دوسرے وفاقی اداروں کے مساوی لانے کے لئےجامع تجاویز پیش کریں تاکہ بہترین کارکردگی دکھانے والے ملازمین کی حوصلہ افزائی مناسب مالی انعام کے ذریعے کی جائے۔انہوں نے ادارے میں شفافیت اور میرٹ کو فروغ دینے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا تاکہ بہترین پیشہ وارانہ صلاحیت اور کارکردگی دکھانے والے ملازمین کی حوصلہ افزائی ہو سکے۔مزید کہا کہ ایف بی آر کی مالی اور انتظامی خودمختاری کو حاصل کرنے کے لئے اخراجات میں کمی نہایت اہمیت کی حامل ہے۔
