The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), in collaboration with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) organized a webinar on Pakistan Single Window (PSW) program at their countrywide offices on June 1, 2021.
The PSW program is a major reform initiative led by Pakistan Customs that aims to transform the management of imports, exports, transit trade and related logistics. The program includes re-engineering of processes and automation of dozens of regulatory agencies to reduce regulatory compliance costs and complications.
The webinar was part of the PSW’s outreach plan to create awareness among stakeholders before launch of its first module - related to subscription in June 2021. Under this module traders and users will be able to avail electronic subscription and registration facility without needing to visit any government department. This will be followed by other 6 major releases by PSW in the current year to facilitate cross border trade and enhance government controls while integrating other government agencies. It is pertinent to mention that the government has promulgated the Pakistan Single Window Act, 2021 to ensure smooth operations of PSW.
The PSW implementation team attended the webinar and explained salient features of the new system to familiarise the participants with this system. The president of FPCCI Mian Nasir Magoon and other participants appreciated efforts of Pakistan Customs to facilitate trade.

فیڈریشن آف پاکستان چیمبرز آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری (FPCCI) نے فیڈرل بورڈ آف ریونیو (FBR) کے تعاون سے یکم جون 2021 کو ملک بھر میں اپنےدفاتر میں پاکستان سنگل ونڈو (PSW) پروگرام کےسلسلے میں ایک ویبینار کا اہتمام کیا۔
پی ایس ڈبلیو پروگرام پاکستان کسٹم کی سربراہی میں ایک بڑا اصلاحی اقدام ہے جس کا مقصد درآمدات، برآمدات ، ٹرانزٹ تجارت اور متعلقہ لاجسٹکس کے انتظام و انصرام میں رد و بدل کرنا ہے۔ پروگرام میں ریگولیٹری کمپلائنس کے اخراجات اور پیچیدگیوں میں کمی لانے کیلئے ریگولیٹری ایجنسیوں کے طریقہ کار اور آٹومیشن کو از سر نو وضع کرنا ہے۔
ویبنار کا مقصد اس کے پہلے ماڈیول کے آغاز سے قبل تمام متعلقین میں پی ایس ڈبلیو کی رسائی کے منصوبے کے بارے میں آگاہی اجاگر کرنا ہے جو کہ جون 2021 میں سبسکرپشن کے حوالے سے ہو گا۔ اس ماڈیول کے تحت ٹریڈرز اور صارفین کسی سرکاری محکمے میں جائے بغیر الیکٹرانک سبسکرپشن اور رجسٹریشن کی سہولت حاصل کر سکیں گے۔ اس کے بعد پی ایس ڈبلیو کی طرف سے رواں سال میں 6 اہم اجراء کئے جائیں گے تاکہ سرحد پار تجارت کو آسان بنایا جائے اور دیگر حکومتی اداروں کو ہم آہنگ کرتے ہوئے حکومتی کنٹرول بڑھایا جائے۔ قابل ذکر بات یہ ہے کہ حکومت نے پی ایس ڈبلیو کے کام میں آسانی یقینی بنانے کے لئے پاکستان سنگل ونڈو ایکٹ ، 2021 کا اجراء کیا ہے۔
پی ایس ڈبلیو کی عمل آوری ٹیم نے ویبینار میں شرکت کی اور شرکاء میں اس نئے سسٹم کی نمایاں خصوصیات کے بارے میں آگاہی اجاگر کی۔ FPCCI کے صدر میاں ناصر مگون اور دیگر شرکاء نے تجارت کو آسان بنانے کیلئے پاکستان کسٹم کی کاوشوں کو سراہا۔
