The 49th Specialized Training Program (STP) of the Inland Revenue Service (IRS) of Federal Board of Revenue Pakistan concluded with a grand passing-out ceremony in Lahore on Wednesday. The event was held at the IRS Academy in Lahore which was attended by Chairman FBR Mr. Asim Ahmad and other distinguished guests including senior officers of the Board. The Governor Punjab Mr. Muhammad Baligh-Ur-Rehman was Chief Guest on the occasion.
The STP is a rigorous training program designed to equip CSS officers of the IRS with the skills and knowledge necessary to carry out their duties effectively. The 49th batch of the STP consisted of 39 officers, who underwent an intensive yearlong training program covering various aspects of tax administration.
During the ceremony, the Governor Punjab and Chairman FBR praised the dedication and commitment of the officers during the program. They stressed that hard work and determination would contribute to the development of the country. They also emphasized the importance of tax collection and compliance, and commended the IRS for its efforts in effectively implementing the tax laws.
The graduating officers were presented with certificates and awards for their outstanding performance during the program.
The Chairman FBR thanked the Chief Guest for attending the ceremony and congratulated the graduating officers for successfully completing the STP. He also emphasized the importance of continuous learning and development and encouraged the officers to use their newly acquired skills to improve tax administration in Pakistan.
The passing-out ceremony of the 49th STP of the Inland Revenue Service was a resounding success and marked the beginning of a new chapter for the graduating officers. They will now join the ranks of the Assistant Commissioner IRS in field offices, contributing their skills and knowledge to the development of the country and ensuring compliance of tax laws.

فیڈرل بورڈ آف ریونیو پاکستان کی ان لینڈ ریونیو سروس (IRS) کا 49 واں سپیشلائزڈ ٹریننگ پروگرام (STP) بدھ کو لاہور میں ایک شاندار پاسنگ آؤٹ تقریب کے ساتھ اختتام پذیر ہوا۔ یہ تقریب آئی آر ایس اکیڈمی لاہور میں منعقد ہوئی جس میں چیئرمین ایف بی آر عاصم احمد اور بورڈ کے سینئر افسران سمیت دیگر معزز مہمانوں نے شرکت کی۔ اس موقع پر گورنر پنجاب محمد بلیغ الرحمان مہمان خصوصی تھے۔
ایس ٹی پی ایک سخت تربیتی پروگرام ہے جو آئی آر ایس کے افسران کو اپنے فرائض کی انجام دہی کے لیے ضروری مہارتوں اور علم سے آراستہ کرنے کے لیے ڈیزائن کیا گیا ہے۔ ایس ٹی پی کے 49ویں Batch میں 39 افسران شامل تھے، جنہوں نے ٹیکس ایڈمنسٹریشن سے متعلق سال بھر کا طویل تربیتی پروگرام کیا۔
تقریب کے دوران گورنر پنجاب اور چیئرمین ایف بی آر نے افسران کی لگن اور عزم کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے زور دیا کہ محنت اور عزم ملک کی ترقی میں کردار ادا کرتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے ٹیکس کی وصولی اور تعمیل کی اہمیت پر بھی زور دیا، اور ٹیکس قوانین کو مؤثر طریقے سے نافذ کرنے میں IRS کی کوششوں کی تعریف کی۔
پروگرام کے دوران گریجویٹ ہونے والے افسران کو ان کی شاندار کارکردگی پر اسناد اور ایوارڈز سے نوازا گیا۔ چیئرمین ایف بی آر نے تقریب میں شرکت کرنے پر مہمان خصوصی کا شکریہ ادا کیا اور افسران کو ایس ٹی پی کامیابی سے مکمل کرنے پر مبارکباد دی۔ انہوں نے مسلسل سیکھنے کی اہمیت پر بھی زور دیا اور افسران کی حوصلہ افزائی کی کہ وہ اپنی نئی حاصل کردہ مہارتوں کو پاکستان میں ٹیکس ایڈمنسٹریشن کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے استعمال کریں۔
ان لینڈ ریونیو سروس کی 49ویں ایس ٹی پی کی پاسنگ آؤٹ تقریب کا انعقاد کامیابی سے ہوا جس سے فارغ التحصیل افسران کے لیے ایک نئے باب کا آغاز ہو گیا ہے۔ افسران اب فیلڈ آفسسز میں بطور اسسٹنٹ کمشنر IRS اپنے فرائض انجام دیں گے اور ملک کی ترقی اور ٹیکس قوانین کی تعمیل کو یقینی بنانے میں اپنا کردار ادا کریں گے۔
