3. Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights 1994 (Uruguay Round) enforced on 01.01.1995
4. World Trade Organization (Marrakesh Round) created in 1995

DOMESTIC LEGISLATION ON IPR

1. The Customs Act, 1969 (Section 15, 16 and 17) amended vide Finance Act, 2004
2. Section 3CC of the Customs Act, 1969 (inserted by Finance Acto of 2012) for creation of the Directorate General of IPRE
3. SRO 170(I)/2017 dated 16.03.2017 incorporated into the Customs Rules, 2001 (Chapter 27 Rules 678 – 686)
4. Copyrights Ordinance, 1962 (as amended in 2000)
5. Patent Ordinance, 2000
6. Trademarks Ordinance, 2001
