A delegation of All Pakistan Anjuman-e-Tajran (APAT) called on the Federal Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar today at FBR Headquarters in Islamabad.
The delegation comprised Mr. Naeem Mir, Secretary General APAT and other senior representatives of the organization. The Finance Minister was accompanied by Mr. Tariq Mehmood Pasha, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Revenue, Mr. Ashfaq Tola Chairman Reforms and Resource Mobilization Commission (RRMC), Mr. Asim Ahmad Chairman Federal Board of Revenue and other senior officers from the Finance Ministry and Revenue Division.
During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of paying due share of taxes by the traders and business community in the national exchequer for raising additional revenues for growth of the national economy. He reiterated that the Government regards the contribution of traders and the business community to the economy very highly. He said that measures are being taken to present a business friendly budget without burdening the trading community and the general public. He stated that the Government will extend all possible cooperation to the traders for running their businesses for collective betterment of the country.
The visiting delegation apprised the Minister about issues being faced by the traders. They assured full support to the Government in reviving the economy and achieving budgetary targets for the next financial year. The delegation also presented their proposals for the upcoming Federal Budget which were welcomed by the Finance Minister.

وزیر خزانہ محمد اسحاق ڈار سے جمعہ کو آل پاکستان انجمن تاجران کے وفد نے ایف بی آر ہیڈ کوارٹرز اسلام آباد میں ملاقات کی۔ وفد میں آل پاکستان انجمن تاجران کے جنرل سکریٹری نعیم میر اور دیگر سینئر نمائندے شامل تھے۔
ملاقات کے دوران وزیر خزانہ کے ہمراہ معاون خصوصی براۓ خزانہ طارق باجوہ، وزیر اعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے ریونیوطارق محمود پاشا، ریفارمز اینڈ ریسورس موبلائزیشن کمیشن کے چیئرمین اشفاق تولہ، چیئرمین ایف بی آر عاصم احمد اور وزارت خزانہ اور ریونیو ڈویژن کے اعلیٰ حکام بھی موجود تھے۔
ملاقات کے دوران وزیر خزانہ نے تاجر برادری کی طرف سے اپنے حصہ کے ٹیکسز قومی خزانہ میں جمع کرانے کی اہمیت پر زور دیا تاکہ ملک کی معیشت کے لئے اضافی ریونیو اکٹھاکیا جا سکے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت تاجربرادری اور بزنس کمیونٹی کی معیشت کے لئے خدمات کو قدرکی نگاہ سے دیکھتی ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ عوام اور تاجر برادری پر بوجھ ڈالے بغیر بزنس فرینڈلی بجٹ پیش کرنے کی کوشش کی جارہی ہے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت ملک کی مجموعی بہتری کے لئے تاجروں کو کاروبار کرنے میں ہر ممکن سہولت فراہم کرے گی۔
وفد نے وزیر خزانہ کو تاجروں کو درپیش مشکلات سے آگاہ کیا۔انہوں نے یقین دلایا کہ تاجر برادری معیشت کی بحالی اور آئندہ مالی سال کے دوران بجٹ کے اہداف پورے کرنے میں بھرپور تعاون کرے گی۔ وفد نے آئندہ بجٹ کے لئے اپنی تجاویز بھی پیش کیں جن کاوزیر خزانہ نے خیرمقدم کیا۔
