Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmed

Commissioner (Inland Revenue), Islamabad

Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmed, a civil servant of Inland Revenue Service is from 27th Common Training Program of Civil Service Academy, Lahore. Prior to joining civil service in 2000, he did his degree in Civil Engineering and was awarded a Gold Medal, being a top position holder of University of Engineering & Technology, Peshawar. During his twenty years career, he remained posted on various positions including Staff Officer to Commissioner, Additional Commissioner (Headquarters) in various Regional Tax Offices and Large Taxpayers Unit, Karachi, Deputy Director (Vigilance Wing) in Intelligence & Investigation Directorate, Karachi, Deputy Project Director of Tax Administrative Reform Program at Karachi and Commissioner, Large Taxpayers Unit, Islamabad. He has attended various local and international courses and seminars on taxation, management, project implementation , tax avoidance as well as on tax fraud cases. Currently, he is posted as Commissioner (Inland Revenue), Commissionarate, Islamabad.

Ihsan Ullah

Additional Commissioner (Inland Revenue), Islamabad

Mr. Ihsan Ullah, a career civil servant, joined civil service in January, 2005. He holds Masters degree in English Literature from University of Peshawar and MBA in Tax Management from Institute of Business Administration, Karachi. He has served in various field formations of FBR in the capacity of Assistant Commissioner (IR), Deputy Commissioner (IR), Secretary Management, FBR and Additional Commissioner (IR), in RTO, Karachi, Rawalpindi and LTU, Islamabad. Mr. Ihsan Ullah, has a rich experience of practical application of different tax laws, in cases of Individuals, AOPs and Corporate taxpayers. Mr. Ihsan Ullah has attended various refresher capacity buildings training programs and workshops on taxation at Directorate of Taxation, Lahore and Islamabad. Currently, he is working as Additional Commissioner(Inland Revenue) in Commissionarate, Islamabad. .

Khurshid Alam Khan

Deputy Commissioner (Inland Revenue), Islamabad

Mr. Khurshid Alam Khan joined civil service in 2011. He did his Masters in Physics. Before joining civil service, he was associated with teaching and research at the Government of Khyber PakhtoonKhawa (KPK).He has a rich experience and expertise in corporate law including Tax Laws, Commercial & Business Law, Digital Economy and Transfer Pricing. He has served as Assistant Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner in Regional Tax Offices and Large Taxpayers Unit, Islamabad. Currently, he is working as Deputy Commissioner(IR) in Commissionarate, Islamabad.

Gulfam Afzal

Deputy Commissioner (Inland Revenue), Islamabad

Mr. Gulfam Afzal is from 42nd Common Training Program. A law graduate, he has served at various stations on multiple positions, thereby earning rich experience in different areas of tax law. His previous assignments include serving as Assistant Commissioner (IR) at Regional Tax Offices in Lahore, Islamabad, Abbottabad and Rawalpindi. During these assignments, Mr. Afzal worked in diverse fields ranging from territorial zones to real estate and corporate sector. He has also attended various training programs and workshops on taxation including Tax Management and Micro Economics in Toronto, Canada and Tools of Comprehensive Audit conducted by World Bank. Currently, he is working as Deputy Commissioner(IR) in Commissionarate, Islamabad.

Sajid Ali

Assistant Commissioner (IR), Islamabad

Mr. Sajid Ali holds a Masters degree in Statistics. He has a vast experience of working over 20 years in corporate sector. He remained posted as unit Incharge in Large Taxpayers Office, Islamabad during the period from 2008 to 2020 where he dealt with major cases falling in Oil & Gas sector, Telecom sector, Banking sector etc. He is currently posted in Commissionarate, Islamabad.
