Shakeel Ahmad Kasana

Commissioner (Inland Revenue), Karachi

Mr. Shakeel Ahmad Kasana is a mid career civil servant and a development economist with over 20 years of varied experience in Micro Finance, Project Management, Taxation Policy and Revenue Administration. He did his Bachelors in Commerce from Hailey College, Lahore, MBA from IBA Punjab University. Later on, he completed his MSc Development Economics degree from School of Oriental & African Studies, University of London, UK. He is also a member of Pakistan Society of Development Economists. He joined civil service in the year 1999 and since then, he has acquired a diversified exposure in the domain of taxation. During his career spanning over two decades, he has served in various capacities including Additional Commissioner (Head quarters), Large Taxpayers Unit, Karachi, Commissioner, Large Taxpayers Unit, Karachi, and Commissioner, Large Taxpayers Unit, Islamabad. Currently, he is posted as Commissioner(Inland Revenue), Commissionarate, Karachi.

Imran Mehmood

Deputy Commissioner (Inland Revenue), Karachi

Mr. Imran Mehmood has been serving in Inland Revenue Service of Pakistan since 2011. He holds a Masters in Economics from University of Sindh and Law Degree (LLB) from Sindh Muslim Government Law College. His core competencies include financial intelligence gathering and investigation in the cases of tax evasion and tax fraud. Mr. Imran is currently performing his duties in Commissionarate, Karachi as Deputy Commissioner (Inland Revenue).

Muhammad Arif

Additional Commissioner (Inland Revenue), Karachi

Mr. Muhammad Arif joined civil services in January, 2005. He did his Masters in Computer Sciences in the year 2000 from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He has served in various field formations of FBR including Regional Tax Office, Quetta, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation, Karachi and Large Taxpayers Unit – II, Karachi. Besides serving in FBR, he has also served in National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Balochistan, as Additional Director during June, 2012 to September, 2015. Mr. Arif has brought with him valuable experience of Information Technology / DBMS, coupled with experience of investigating into white collar crimes gained during his stay in NAB and practical experience of prosecuting offences involving tax evasion and money laundering gathered while serving in Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation – IR, Karachi. Presently, he is posted as Additional Commissioner (Inland Revenue) Commissionarate, Karachi.

Riaz Ahmed

Deputy Commissioner (Inland Revenue), Karachi

Mr.Riaz Ahmed joined the Inland Revenue Service of Pakistan in 2013. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Institute of Management Sciences, University of Balochistan. He served at Regional Tax Office-II, Karachi and Regional Tax Office-III, Karachi before assuming his official duties at Commissionarate, Karachi.

Shahzad Ali

Deputy Commissioner (Inland Revenue), Karachi

Mr. Shahzad Ali joined Inland Revenue Service of Pakistan in 2011. He holds a Masters in Sociology from Shah Abdul Latif University. Khairpur. He has a diversified experience in the domain of taxation. He has served in Regional Tax Office-III Karachi, Large Taxpayers Unit-II Karachi and Regional Tax Office-II Karachi. His professional experience in various field formations of FBR has given him an insight in understanding principles of taxation. He is currently performing his duties at Commissionarate, Karachi as Deputy Commissioner(Inland Revenue).

Yaser Hussain Bhutto

Deputy Commissioner (Inland Revenue), Karachi

Mr. Yaser Hussain Bhutto joined the Inland Revenue Service of Pakistan in the year 2013. He did his Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) in 2009 from Liaquat University of Medical Sciences, Jamshoro. He served in Regional Tax Office-II, Karachi and Corporate Regional Tax Office, Karachi before assuming the of charge of official duties as Deputy Commissioner (Inland Revenue) at the Commissionarate, Karachi.

Raja Israr

Assistant Commissioner (Inland Revenue), Karachi

Raja Israr joined Inland Revenue Service of Pakistan in 2014. He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Bahria University, Islamabad in 2009. His areas of interest include Financial Accounting, Business Finance, and Managerial Accounting. He remained posted at Large Taxpayers Unit, Karachi before joining AEOI Zone, Karachi. Mr. Israr is currently working as Assistant Commissioner(Inland Revenue)in Commissionarate, Karachi.
