Mr. Irshad Hussain is a fellow of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (FCMA), with majors in Cost Accounting, Advance Financial Accounting, Advanced Managerial Accounting and Financial Management. Before joining the Commissionarate, Lahore, he worked as Commissioner (IR), Corporate Zone, Faisalabad for two years from November, 2016 to November, 2018. He has the experience of working on all related posts of Enforcement, Audit, Legal, IP/TPF and as Additional Commissioner (Headquarters). He remained posted as Project Director, (Iris) looking after the business domain side of the software in the year 2016. In addition to that, he worked for five years (2006-2011) on deputation in the National School of Public Policy Lahore as Project Director, NSPP Component of the Public Sector Capacity Building Program - a World Bank project. At NSPP, he was entrusted with additional duty related to the financial and budgetary matters of NSPP and its Component Units in his capacity as Additional Director Finance. Currently, he is posted as Commissioner(Inland Revenue), Lahore.
Mr. Waqas Rashid Chaudhery is MS in Tax Management with majors in Tax and Accounting from Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, Pakistan. He joined civil service as an IRS officer in 2005 and has 12 years of experience in tax matters. He has attended multiple trainings on domestic taxation and international taxation including effective use of CRC data, the Common Reporting Standard and the use of CRS information, capacity building sessions on transfer pricing by HMRC team and other experts etc. Currently, he is working as Additional Commissioner(IR) in Commissionarate, Lahore.
Muhammad Ijlal Khan holds a Masters degree in Tax Management from IBA, Karachi and Economics & Finance from Lahore School of Economics. He joined civil service as an IRS officer in 2005 and has remained posted in Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation (IR), Lahore and International Taxes, FBR. Currently, he is working as Additional Commissioner(IR) in Commissionarate, Lahore.
Ms. Qayyum Rani joined civil service as an IRS officer in 2010. She holds a Masters degree in English Literature and did her MS in International Development and Cooperation with majors in Finance and Tax Policy from Korea University, Seoul, South Korea. She has participated in many international conferences and has done internships with international organizations like Korean Development Institute (KDI), Korean Institute of Public Finance (KIPF) and United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). She has worked in various enforcement, audit and withholding units of IRS field formations and also has an experience of examining tax matters of multinational corporations as an audit officer in LTU, Lahore. Currently, she is discharging her duties as Deputy Commissioner in the Commissionarate, Lahore.
Ms. Bela Tariq holds a Masters degree in Economics from University of Punjab, Lahore. She joined Federal Board of Revenue(FBR) as an Income Tax Officer in 2005 and has been posted in the field as an enforcement, audit and legal officer. She has attended multiple trainings on domestic tax law and international tax law. Currently, she is posted in Commissionarate, Lahore.
Ms. Sana Ghous joined civil service as an IRS officer in 2015. She holds a Masters in Sociology from University of the Punjab, Lahore. A Chevening scholar , she did her MSC in Public Policy with majors in Economics of Public Policy and Public Management from University of Bristol, United Kingdom. She has attended multiple trainings on taxation and audit training workshops organized by the World Bank. Besides this, she has also participated in international conferences on taxation. Currently, she is posted as Deputy Commissioner (IR) in Commissionarate, Zone Lahore.
