September 29, 2026: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has stated that the Special Tax Scheme for Small Shopkeepers is currently in its initial implementation stages, during which the Board is actively working to facilitate traders and address any practical or technical issues arising out of the registration process.
The Government of Pakistan and the FBR remain in continuous contact with traders, market representatives and trade bodies to ensure that the scheme is implemented in a smooth, transparent and trader-friendly manner. Feedback received from the business community is being duly considered, and efforts are underway to resolve genuine difficulties being faced by traders.
The FBR has further advised traders who encounter any technical difficulty or problem while registering under the scheme to approach the FBR directly for assistance and guidance. The Board is committed to providing the necessary facilitation so that eligible traders can complete the registration process without unnecessary difficulty.
The Government strongly believe that the Special Tax Scheme provides an opportunity for small shopkeepers to become part of the documented tax system through a simplified and facilitative framework. The scheme has been designed with the objective of encouraging voluntary compliance while providing greater certainty and ease of doing business for small traders.
The FBR has expressed confidence that, with the continued cooperation of the trading community and trade bodies, the scheme will achieve its intended objectives and become a successful initiative for the business community

اسلام آباد، 29 ستمبر 2026: فیڈرل بورڈ آف ریونیو (ایف بی آر) نے کہا ہے کہ چھوٹے دکانداروں کے لیے خصوصی ٹیکس اسکیم اس وقت نفاذ کے ابتدائی مرحلے میں ہے، جس کے دوران تاجروں کو رجسٹریشن کے عمل میں درپیش عملی اور تکنیکی مشکلات کے ازالے اور انہیں ہر ممکن سہولت کی فراہمی کے لیے اقدامات کیے جا رہے ہیں۔
حکومت پاکستان اور ایف بی آر، تاجر برادری، مارکیٹ نمائندگان اور مختلف تجارتی تنظیموں کے ساتھ مسلسل رابطے میں ہیں تاکہ اسکیم پر عملدرآمد کو آسان، شفاف اور تاجروں کے لیے با سہولت بنایا جا سکے۔ تاجر برادری کی جانب سے موصول ہونے والی آراء اور تجاویز کا بھی جائزہ لیا جا رہا ہے جبکہ رجسٹریشن کے عمل میں درپیش حقیقی مشکلات کو دور کرنے کے لیے ضروری اقدامات کیے جا رہے ہیں۔
ایف بی آر نے تاجروں سے کہا ہے کہ اگر انہیں خصوصی ٹیکس اسکیم کے تحت رجسٹریشن کے دوران کسی قسم کی تکنیکی دشواری یا مسئلہ درپیش ہو تو وہ براہ راست ایف بی آر سے رابطہ کریں، جہاں انہیں ضروری رہنمائی اور معاونت فراہم کی جائے گی۔
حکومت کا کہنا ہے کہ خصوصی ٹیکس اسکیم چھوٹے دکانداروں کو آسان اور سہولت پر مبنی طریقہ کار کے ذریعے ٹیکس نظام کا حصہ بننے کا ایک اہم موقع فراہم کرتی ہے۔ اسکیم کا مقصد رضاکارانہ ٹیکس تعمیل کی حوصلہ افزائی کے ساتھ ساتھ چھوٹے تاجروں کے لیے کاروباری امور میں آسانی اور ٹیکس معاملات میں زیادہ یقین دہانی پیدا کرنا ہے۔
ایف بی آر نے اس امید کا اظہار کیا ہے کہ تاجر برادری اور تجارتی تنظیموں کے مسلسل تعاون سے خصوصی ٹیکس اسکیم اپنے مطلوبہ مقاصد حاصل کرے گی اور کاروباری برادری کے لیے ایک کامیاب اقدام ثابت ہوگی۔
