In an intelligence based operation, the team IREN RTO Sahiwal confiscated 402 cartons of Cafe brands from Okara City. The stock was unstamped and no document could be produced by the owners. Moreover, a truck was also detained along with the stock. The stock has estimated value of Rs 14 million. It has been shifted to Okara office for further proceedings.
On receipt of credible information regarding non duty paid cigarettes, IREN squad of RTO Multan seized about 22 cartons (220,000 sticks) of local brand cigarettes without TTS stamp at near Dera Adda Multan for supply in local market from shah rukan e alam colony. The stock has been shifted to RTO for further legal proceedings.

The Driver was unable to show prescribed documents regarding the said goods, therefore, stock of 150 Cartons along with truck has been detained for further verification & documentary evidences nd shifted to warehouse.

IREN squad of RTO-Faisalabad during routine patrolling on 18.01.2024 found 20 carton non duty paid / without tax paid stamps of Kisan Brand cigarettes at goods transport adda (truck Stand) Jhang Road, Faisalabad. Examination of these carton revealed that no tax stamps were affixed on them. The stocks of 20 carton of illicit / non-duty paid cigarettes has been seized and shifted to I&I godown, Faisalabad for further proceedings as per law.

IREN squad of RTO Faisalabad during routine patrolling on 07.02.2024 found rikshaw carrying 25 CTNS non duty/tax paid Honda brand cigarettes. The rikshaw driver failed to produce any documents and examination of the cartons revealed that no tax stamps were affixed on them. The stock of 25 cartons of cigarettes of different brands including Kissan, Gold street etc has been seized and shifted to I&I godown, Faisalabad for further proceedings as per law.
On 12-02-2024 in an intelligence based operation, the IREN team of RTO Gujranwala headed by Rana Nadeem intercepted a Loder Raksha at G T Road Gujranwala carrying non duty paid cigarettes of Local brand "cafe and kisan" The stock of 28 cartons has been confiscated and shifted to RTO office Gujranwala for further proceedings.
On credible information, the IREN Squad Rawalpindi Hub visited different warehouses located at Raja Bazar, Rawalpindi and found 58 cartons of misc local brand cigarettes in which were seized on account of non-duty paid/illicit trade Cigarettes.
Mobile squad of IREN RTO, Peshawar conducted successful operation at 3am. The team seized 6 vehicles (4 trucks and 2 Suzuki vans) which contained approximately 1262 packrites (12,620,000 sticks) of local cigarette brands. Value of the seized goods: Approx PKR 109,000,000/-. It is one of the highest seizures of RTO Peshawar.

In an intelligence based operation, the authorized IREN team of Hyderabad Directorate, intercepted a Bolan Carry van at Dadu Moro Link Road carrying 18 Cartons of cigarettes of RIDER brand. The cigarrettes were found without TTS stickers apparently counterfeit cigarettes. The Driver was unable to show prescribed documents regarding the said goods, therefore, stock of 18 cartons (180,000 sticks) has been seized for further verification.
During field surveillance, the IREN Squad Rawalpindi hub found 139 cartons of foreign/Local misc brands in different activities at Raja Bazar, Rawalpindi and Doltala, Gujar Khan were seized on account of non-duty paid/illicit trade Cigarettes.
In the midnight hot pursuit around 2 AM , a successful raid was conducted by Tobacco squad Peshawar chapter and seized 68 packrites of Royal Tobacco Company Swabi who were caught during clandestine removal of non TTS rider brand from their godown. The contrabands have been shifted to respective warehouse at Shahbaz ghari for further investigation.
