Ambassador of Qatar in Pakistan H.E. Sheikh Saoud Abdul Rahman Al-Thani called on Chairman FBR Muhammad Javed Ghani at FBR Headquarter. Matters of mutual concern pertaining to cooperation on customs and tax were discussed in the meeting. It was agreed in the meeting that relevant departments of both countries would further promote the cooperation in the field of customs and tax and would learn from each other’s best practices which would result in increasing the trade volume between the two countries.
Chairman FBR briefed the Qatari Ambassador about the recent measures taken by FBR for the mobilization of revenue and facilitation of taxpayers. Qatari Ambassador appreciated the recent performance of FBR in the first seven months of current Financial Year and hoped that FBR would successfully achieve the revenue target set for the current year.
قطری سفیر کی چئیرمین ایف بی آر سے ملاقات
پاکستان میں تعینات قطر کے سفیر شیخ سعود عبدل رحمان الثانی نے چئیرمین ایف بی آر محمد جاوید غنی سے ایف بی آر ہیڈکوارٹر میں ملاقات کی۔ ملاقات میں دونوں ممالک کے درمیان ٹیکس اور کسٹمز کے شعبہ میں باہمی تعاون کا جائزہ لیا گیا۔ ملاقات میں اس امر پر اتفاق کیا گیا کہ دونوں ممالک کسٹمز اور ٹیکس سے متعلق باہمی تعلقات پر تعاون کو فروغ دینے کے لئے اقدامات اٹھائیں گے اور دونوں ممالک کے متعلقہ ادارے ایک دوسرے کے بہترین تجربات کو اپنائیں گے اور اشتراک کو وسعت دیں گے جس کے باعث دو طرفہ تجارت کو بھی فروغ ملے گا۔
چئیرمین ایف بی آر نے قطری سفیر کو ایف بی آر کی طرف سے ریونیو میں اضافہ اور ٹیکس گزاروں کی سہولت کے لئے اٹھائے گئے اقدامات کے بارے میں آگاہ کیا۔ قطری سفیر نے ایف بی آر کا رواں مالی سال کے پہلے سات ماہ میں ہدف سے زائد ریوینواکھٹا کرنے پر چئیرمین ایف بی آر کو مبارک باد دی اور امید ظاہر کی کہ ایف بی آر سال کا مقر ر کردہ ہدف حاصل کرنے میں کامیاب ہو جائے گا۔
