Federal Board of Revenue has issued a statement wherein it has been appealed to the taxpayers to pay their due taxes in time to increase the revenue resource of the Government. The government will utilize the resources to effectively provide services to the people in current situation and will fight with Covid-19 pandemic in a befitting manner.
FBR has further stated that the staff and officers of FBR are performing their duties diligently during deadlock without fear of viral outbreak in the country. The FBR staff and officers are determined to collect revenue for the government in such difficult times by keeping a safe distance with the taxpayers.
However, it is also the responsibility of the taxpayers to pay their due taxes in time because the taxes paid by them would be used by the government to rid the country of this contagious disease and the collected revenue would be utilized on the suffering people who desperately need help at this critical time. FBR is optimistic that the people of Pakistan will also remain successful this time by showing responsibility and unity.

ٹیکس ادا کریں تا کہ ملکی وسائل عوام کی خدمت پر صرف ہوں
فیڈرل بورڈ آف ریوینیو نے اعلامیہ جاری کیا ہے جس میں ٹیکس گزاروں سے اپیل کی گئی ہے کہ وہ اپنے حصے کا ٹیکس ادا کریں تاکہ حکومتی وسائل میں اضافہ ہو اور درپیش موذی وبا کے خلاف حکومت موثر لائحہ عمل بنائےاور ان حالات میں عوام کو ہر ممکن سہولیات فراہم کی جا سکیں۔اعلامیہ میں مزید کہا گیا ہے کہ آج جب وطن عزیز کرونا وائرس کے خلاف نبرد آزما ہے اور جہاں ہر پاکستانی اپنے حصے کا بوجھ اٹھا رہا ہے وہاں ایف بی آر کے افسران اور اہلکارپاکستان کی ملکی معیشت کو مستحکم رکھنے کے لئے ہمہ وقت کوشاں ہیں ۔ ٹیکس گزاروں سے کم سے کم رابطہ رکھتے ہوئے ایف بی آر کے اہلکار اس موذی وبا میں لاک ڈاون کی صورتحال کے باوجود اپنی جان ہتھیلی پر رکھ کر ٹیکس اکٹھا کر رہے ہیں تاکہ وطن عزیز کویہ جنگ جیتنے کے لئے وسائل میسر ہو سکیں۔ ایف بی آر کا سٹاف اور افسران ان نامسائد حالات میں اپنی ہر ممکن کوشش کر رہے ہیں کہ محصولات کا تسلسل ٹوٹنے نہ پائے۔
لیکن اگر ہمیں یہ جنگ جیتنا ہے تو ہمیشہ کی طرح اس مرتبہ بھی قوم کے ہر شخص کو اپنے حصے کا ٹیکس ادا کرنا ہو گاتاکہ ریاست پاکستان اپنی تمام تر قوت اور وسائل صحت و رفاہ عامہ کے کاموں پر لگا سکیں۔
