FPCCI DELEGATION MEETS FINANCE MINISTER
A delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) led by Mr. Irfan Iqbal Sheikh met Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar at FBR Headquarters.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Finance Mr. Tariq Bajwa, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Revenue, Mr Tariq Mehmood Pasha, Chairman FBR Mr. Asim Ahmad and senior officers from Ministry of Finance and FBR were also present in the meeting.
The delegation of FPCCI discussed the overall economic situation of the country and gave proposals for the upcoming Federal Budget. They offered full support to the Government in its efforts to revitalize the economy and enhance exports. The Finance Minister assured the delegation that Government is fully cognizant of the difficulties faced by the business community and will incorporate the suggestions of the Chamber in the upcoming budget. The Federal Minister reiterated the importance of business community and appreciated their efforts and contributions to the economy of Pakistan.
وزیر خزانہ اسحاق ڈار سے ایف پی سی سی آئی کے وفد کی ملاقات
وفاقی وزیر خزانہ محمد اسحاق ڈار سے جمعرات کو فیڈریشن آف پاکستان چیمبرز آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری کے ایک وفد نے ایف پی سی سی آئی کے صدر عرفان اقبال شیخ کی سربراہی میں ایف بی آر ہیڈکوارٹرز اسلام آباد میں ملاقات کی۔ ملاقات کے دوران وزیراعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے خزانہ طارق باجوہ، وزیر اعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے ریونیو طارق محمود پاشا، چیئرمین ایف بی آر عاصم احمد اور وزات خزانہ اورایف بی آر کے اعلیٰ حکام بھی موجود تھے۔
ایف پی سی سی آئی کے وفد نے ملک کی مجموعی اقتصادی صورت حال پر بات چیت کی اور آئندہ وفاقی بجٹ کے حوالے سے اپنی تجاویز بھی پیش کیں۔وفد نے حکومت کو معیشت کی بحالی اور برآمدات بڑھانے کی کوششوں میں مکمل تعاون کی پیش کش کی۔ وزیرخزانہ نے کہا کہ حکومت تاجر برادری کو درپیش مشکلات سے پوری طرح آگاہ ہے اور آئندہ بجٹ میں ایف پی سی سی آئی کی تجاویز کو شامل کیا جائے گا۔وفاقی وزیر نے تاجر برادری کی اہمیت پر زور دیا اور پاکستان کی معیشت کی ترقی میں ان کی خدمات اور کوششوں کو سراہا۔
