The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)'s Tax Education Department organized a training session yesterday at Iqra University, Islamabad on 5th September, 2024, which was attended by the students and faculty members of the university. The FBR team that visited Iqra University, Islamabad, included Mr. Muhammad Alam Zaib Khan (Secretary Tax Education), Ms. Angel David (Second Secretary), Mr. Muhammad Zahid Awan (Second Secretary), Mr. Salman Khaliq (Inspector), Mr. Muhammad Zia Farooqi (Coordinator), Mr. Manzoor Hussain and Mr. Tamoor from Public Relations Wing. Mr. Muhammad Alam Zaib Khan and Ms. Angel David briefed the participants about the importance of a tax culture and emphasized that as taxpayers, we should fulfill our national responsibilities.
The Dean of Social Sciences at Iqra University, Dr. Aitzaz Ahmed, addressed the participants of the session and appreciated the efforts of FBR in promoting a tax compliance culture in the country. A question and answer session was also held, during which attendees asked questions related to taxes, which were answered satisfactorily. Prizes were also distributed among the students on the occasion.
